Deborah Christine Garris, age 71, of Daniels, West Virginia, passed away Sunday, June 15, 2025 at CAMC- Memorial Division in Charleston, West Virginia.

Deborah was born August 26, 1953 in Chicago, Illinois, a daughter of Hilding and Alvina Feeney Sylvander. Deborah was a hardworking woman, who always enjoyed taking care of her friends and family. She enjoyed spending time with all of her family especially her nieces and nephews. She was a deep conversationalist, and could always make new friends anywhere she went. She was the family mentor and consultant, always willing to give advice to anyone who needed it. Her greatest accomplishment by far was getting to be a grandma, and great-grandma. She was the best-ever grandma.

Those left to forever hold and cherish her memory are her three children, Heather Testerman of Beckley, WV, Glenn Prince of Daniels, WV, and Jeremy Dean Prince of Lebanon TN, grandchildren, Mckenzie of Michigan, Dylan of Georgia, Tabitha of Alabama, Tiffany of Tennessee, and Tyler, and Tanner Testerman of Daniels, WV, her pride and joy great-grandchildren, Emmitt of Michigan, Conan of Daniels, Skylar, and Gage of TN, sisters Donna Feazel of Michigan, Darlene Bomar of Florissant MO, brother Don Sylvander of Cape Coral FL, a special friend in love Larry Garris, special sisters not by blood Eloise Hardin of Daniels WV, and Rita Lytton of Coal City WV and many other extended family and friends who will all miss Deborah dearly
