Deborah Leslie (Shawver) Shawver Obituary

On Monday, August 5th, 2024, our most cherished, Deborah Pizzino passed peacefully from this world after a long illness. She was 71 years of age.
Born in Beckley on April 18th, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Imogene Walker Miller. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara.
Deborah was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, Class of 1971. She had previously worked at Magnet Bank as a loan officer. The last twenty five years of her working career Deborah was a self- employed truck driver. "Deb" as she was affectionately known enjoyed traveling, and being in the great outdoors. She liked car racing and was a Dale Earnhardt fan.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Randy Pizzino. Deborah had two children, Michelle Meadows (Bill) and Bobby Shawver; two grandchildren, Marshall and Sable Meadows. Randy's children also survive, Jeremy Pizzino (Amanda) and Butch Pizzino (Anna); and Randy's grandchildren, Kendra, Blake, Kali and Emma. Deborah had a "sister of the heart," Donna Mullins. The family would like to acknowledge the 4 North Staff at Raleigh General Hospital for their wonderful care and compassion.
In keeping with Deborah's explicit wishes there will be no formal services.
