Derek Lee Hylton, age 33, passed away July 19, 2024. He was born February 1, 1991 in Beckley, WV.

Surviving loved ones include his parents Denny and Lara Hylton of Jaffrey, NH, his brother Drew Hylton of Peterborough, NH. Surviving grandparents are Cecil and Ruby Estep of Bluefield, WV and Dennis Hylton of Oak Hill, WV. Also, many uncles, aunts and cousins.

Derek was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Charlotte Hylton.

Derek loved playing computer games with his brother, books, and working out. He also loved a great joke, and his laughter and smile were contagious.

We will love and miss Derek always and we will hold onto the Promise that we will be together again one day.

"And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you." John 16:22

A private graveside service will be held at Sunset Memorial Park with Pastor Kevin Taylor of Mountain View Church of God, Hilltop, WV officiating.
