Diania Lynn Moore, seventy-eight, went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 25, 2025. Beloved mother, wife and sister, "Lynn" was born on March 9, 1947, in Beckley, West Virginia to the late Cleo Jackson Gill and Georgia Mae (Wood) Gill.
She retired from Verizon with more than 30 years of service. Lynn was involved at Mabscott Holiness Church for many years and had a deep, unwavering love for the Lord. She volunteered as a teacher and was an avid supporter of the Mabscott Christian Academy from its inception.
In addition to her parents, Lynn is greeted just inside The Eastern Gate, by her loving husband of 49 years, Clarence Edward Moore, a brother Billy Joe Gill and his wife Norma, a sister Della Mae Gill and infant brother Joseph Gideon Gill.
Those left to cherish her memory, and await an oh glad reunion day, include her son, Eric Moore of Charlotte, NC ; her daughter Teresa Webb and husband Bobby and their children Spencer Webb and Tatum Webb of Beckley, WV; her son Steve Moore and wife Kaity and their daughter Jillian Moore of Shady Spring, WV; Her brothers George "Butchie" Gill and wife Sande of Ravenswood, WV, Ron Gill and wife Denise of Shady Spring; her sisters Cleo Jacqueline (Sissie) Sandy and husband Mitchell of Richwood, WV, Rhoda Moore and husband Johnny of Oak Hill, WV, Debra "Dee Dee" Houck and husband John of Beckley, WV, Kathy Gill of Mabscott, WV ; along with many nieces and nephews, and extended family and friends who will all miss her dearly.
A Going Home Celebration will take place for Lynn on Tuesday December 2, 2025, at 1:00pm in the Melton Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Eddie Tucker officiating. The family will accept friends beginning at 10:00am. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
