Don Evan Lilly

Don Evan Lilly, 64, passed away on Wednesday, May 3rd, 2023, at his residence in Beckley, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Don was born in Beckley. When he was young, he enjoyed motorcycle racing so much, he went to work for the local Yamaha shop. Don retired from Bub's Cycle Center after 40 plus years. He also loved to snow ski. Don had the opportunity to ski out west several times and still wanted to go back. He later decided to learn how to play golf, a very frustrating game for him to master.
Don was preceded in death by his great grandmother, Mamie Weaver; grandparents, Mildred and Augie Garbarino and Jonah W. and Katherine (Booth) Lilly. All played a key role in Don's life growing up.
Donnie is survived by his parents, Jonah R., and Suzann (Smith) Lilly; his loving wife of 35 years, Amy (Berry) Lilly; brothers, Jeffrey Kent Lilly and Richard "Rick" Lilly and nieces, Leigh Ann (Lilly) and Kyle Greene and Kia (Lilly) Boss; special thanks to family friend, Patty Bias.
Services will be held on Saturday, May 13th, 2023, in the Melton Mortuary Chapel in Beckley at 1:00 pm. Friends and family may visit from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm, the service time. Committal services will follow in the Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum for the immediate family.
