Donald Wayne Buckland, age 74, of Beckley, West Virginia, passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at his home in Beckley, West Virginia.

Donald was born November 07, 1949 in Beckley, West Virginia, a son of Randolph and Rosalie Buckland.

He is survived by his sisters Sharon Ann Buckland Komendera, of San Diego, CA and Gerri Buckland Jones of Spotsylvania, VA.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Ruth Ann Buckland, his brothers Randolph Lee Buckland Jr. and David Charles Buckland.

Don was a life long resident of the Beckley area and retired from City of Beckley
Sanitary Board. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved working in his garden, raising his chickens and playing with his dog.

A celebration of Don's life will be held on Monday October 28th, 2024 at 1:00pm in the Melton Mortuary Chapel with Reverend Doc Adkins officiating. Family and friends may gather at 11:00am.
