Drema Kay (Dishmon) Russell

Drema Kay Russell, 69, Fairdale, WV, went to be with the Lord on January 11, 2022.  She was born on April 18, 1952, at Kopperston, WV and was the oldest of six children of the late George (Buck) and Patricia “Patty” Dishmon.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her infant brother Ronnie Dishmon.

Drema is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Tommy G. Russell; daughter Tara Jean “Jeannie” Russell of Fairdale, WV; sisters Brenda Tolliver and her husband Pete of Prosperity, WV, Rosetta “Red” Lafferty and her husband Donnie of Fairdale, WV; brothers James “Bruce” Dishmon and his wife Faith of Glen Fork, WV and Terry Dishmon of Fairdale, WV; and many extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.

Drema enjoyed crafting with flowers and all types of gardening.

A funeral service celebrating her life will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the Melton Mortuary Chapel.  The family will receive friends for visitation from 11 am – 1 pm.  Interment will follow services at Sunset Memorial Park.  Words of comfort may be offered to the family by visiting www.meltonmortuary.com
