Eddie Lane Daniels

Eddie Lane Daniels, age 69, of White Oak, West Virginia, was called home on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at his home in White Oak, West Virginia.

Eddie was born July 25, 1953 in Barrett, West Virginia, a son of Frank and Pauline Bailey Daniels. Eddie was raised in Boone County WVa. In addition to his parents Eddie is greeted at Heaven's gates by his brother Roman Ray Daniels, sister Mary Rose Gibson, nephew Brian Gibson.

Those left behind to cherish and hold his memory close include his brother Roger Daniels (Ethel) of Shady Springs WV, and longtime companion Delores Gill of White Oak WV, one daughter Becky Piotrowski (Chris) of Cleveland OH, granddaughter Angela Nazario, grandson Jacob Piotrowski, nephews Bart Gibson (Natalie) of North Carolina, Michael Daniels (Tara) of Scott Depot, uncle Dowell Bailey of Lorado WV, numerous nieces, and many other extended family and friends who will all miss Eddie dearly.

Eddie was a hard worker, and always had a can do attitude, always overcoming any adversity that crossed his path. He worked for the department of state roads in North Carolina for several years before retiring. He was a car guy always tinkering on classic cars, especially any classic Chevrolet's like the Chevelle and even loved motorcycles especially the Harley Davidson.

The family would like to offer special thanks to the staff at Bowers Hospice House for all their care and compassion during this difficult time, and to the staff at Melton Mortuary for their help in arranging all services for Eddie.

A funeral service will take place for Eddie on Monday May 8, 2023 at 1:00 pm at the Melton Mortuary Chapel with the Reverend Rodney Allen officiating. The family will receive visitors two hours prior. Interment will follow in the Allen Cemetery in Bolt West Virginia.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Bowers Hospice House in Eddie's memory.
