Eddie Dean Richmond (also known as Fuzz), 57, of Sandlick, WV, passed away on April 6th, 2025. Born on June 14, 1967, at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV, Eddie lived a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure. He is survived by his sister, Rose and her husband Roger Pettry; brother Benny Richmond; nieces Katie Pettry and her husband Eric "Clyde" Bunch, Kiska (Harper) Pettry and her husband Danny Harper; nephew Darian "DJ" Pettry; great nieces Autumn Browning and Sadie Harper; great nephews Eli Harper, Danny "Little D" Harper, Ryder Bunch, and River Bunch; uncles Johnny Richmond and his wife Teresa Williams, Jerry Richmond, and Ira Richmond and his wife Stephane; His aunts Roxie Williams and Pearl Brown.

Eddie was a kind-hearted soul who loved his family and friends dearly. He was known for his generosity, always willing to lend a helping hand or give someone the shirt off his back. His infectious laughter and quick wit made him a joy to be around, and he never met a stranger.

In his free time, Eddie enjoyed fishing, four-wheeler riding, and spending time with good friends and family. He was also passionate about working on cars, trucks, and ATVs, and loved the outdoors. Above all, Eddie loved children and was always eager to meet new ones.

Though he never had a traditional job, Eddie worked hard every day to make an honest dollar, earning the respect and admiration of those who knew him. His family misses him dearly, but they take comfort in knowing he is now at peace with his parents, Linda Kay and James Richmond.

A memorial ceremony will be held to celebrate Eddie's life and legacy. The service will take place down below the graveyard site, where friends and family will gather to remember the best soft-hearted man they'll ever meet. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." John Chapter 3 Verse 16.
