Eddie Joe Wimmer, Jr

Eddie Joe Wimmer, Jr. of Fairdale, was born on December 14th, 1978 to his parents Eddie "Joe" and Reva (Walls) Wimmer, Sr. in Beckley, West Virginia. He gained his wings unexpectedly on October 17th, 2023 at his home at the young age of 44.
Eddie is preceded in death by his father, Joe Wimmer, Sr. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his sons Noah Wimmer and his companion Caity Smith and Aron Wimmer and his wife Billie; daughter Mariah Myers; mother Reva Walls and her companion Rock Grant; brothers Joey Wimmer and his wife Star and Shawn and his wife Charlotte; sister Jerenda and her husband Marty; grandchildren Amberley, Asher, Oliver, and Sawyer; and his best friends Dale and Patrick Cox; and many extended family and friends who will miss him.
Eddie was a true West Virginia Coal Miner who loved his work and everyone he worked with. He also had a special place in his heart for dirt track racing and enjoyed his sport for over 20 years.
A celebration of Eddie's life will be held at the Melton Mortuary Chapel on Wednesday, October 25th, 2023 at 6 pm with Pastor Jeffrey Perdue officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation two hours prior from 4-6 pm.
