Obituary
Eloisa “Elsie” Aguas Munoz was born on January 14, 1944 in Mexico, Pampanga, Philippines to her parents Igmidio and Agapita (Flores) Aguas. She passed away on May 23, 2022 in Beckley, West Virginia at the age of 78.
Elsie leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of 56 years, Dr. Oscar F. Munoz; 2 daughters, Patria Munoz and Myra Edgington; son Oscar A. (Mary) Munoz; grandson Orion Munoz; granddaughter Sydney Edgington; brother Tomas (Ludivinia) Aguas; sister Josie Gopez; and many extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.
Elsie is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Ben Aguas.
Elsie spent 8 years working as a Registered Nurse in New York at the Jewish Memorial Hospital, Fairfield Nursing Home in Bronx, NY and Fort Dryon Nursing Home in Upper Manhattan.
Elsie was known in the community and at her church to be a good cook who always put her heart into her food. She enjoyed attending church and praying the Rosary. Elsie was a very generous soul to everyone who knew her and most importantly, loved taking care of her family and friends.
A memorial mass will be celebrated at St. Francis de Sales Parish on Thursday, June 2nd, at 11:00 a.m. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Elsie to St. Francis de Sales Parish, 626 S.
