Emmett Lonie Plumley, 84 went home to be with his lord and savior on Monday, February 24, 2025 after a short battle with cancer.

He was born March 10, 1940 to Lonie and Lottie Plumley.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters, a granddaughter Clarissa, a great grandson Zackery, daughter in law Kelli Ann, and his faithful fur baby Piper.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Patty, of 62 years, 3 children Beverly (Ronnie) of North Sandbranch Road, Kevin (Stevi) of North Sandbranch Road, Paul of Sweeneysburg Road. 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.

Emmett was owner and operator of Plumley's Body Shop from 1963 until he retired. He was a member of Little Valley Baptist Church on South Sandbranch Road where he witnessed to everyone he met about God's love, even through this cancer journey he still told everyone how blessed he was. He was truly a man of God.

The family would like to express their thanks to the 4th floor nursing staff and doctors at RGH and a very special thanks to the incredible nursing staff at Bowers Hospice House.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday February 28, 2025 at 7:00 PM at Melton Mortuary Chapel with the Reverend Jerry Tyree officiating and honorary Pastor Junior Plumley. Friends may visit with the family 2 hours prior to the service.
