Ernest Crutchfield Obituary

Ernest Homer Crutchfield 83 of MacArthur went home to be with the Lord, on April 19, 2022 in Beckley WV. He was born to the late John Henry, and Mildred Lahoma (Gibson) Crutchfield on March 28, 1939 in Big Stick WV.

Ernie graduated from Sophia High School and worked at a major hospital in MD as the head of the laundry department. He was very proud of his work and earned many certificates as outstanding in his field. He retired and moved to Florida where he was finally able to golf as much as he wanted, which was his favorite thing to do.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his stepson Randy Crutchfield of Mechanicsville, MD. He will be sadly missed by his 3 daughters, Melanie DeCampo and husband George, Kim Brogan and husband Kevin, Robin Allen, 7 Grandchildren, and 11 Great Grandchildren.
