Eugene W. Terry

Eugene W. Terry, 89 years old, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 21st, 2021 at the Bowers Hospice House.

He was born in Surveyor to Floyd and Esta Clemons Terry.

Eugene was an US Army veteran.  He worked in the optical business for 52 years, always proud that he fitted and made glasses for all his patients, Eugene worked until the age of 82.   At home he enjoyed yard work and gardening while his health allowed. He also enjoyed crocheting until eye sight worsened with age.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Bernice; sister, Jewel; brothers Tilden, Norris, and Kendall; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law and two nephews.

Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Kathy Taraczkozy and husband, Bill; grandson, Alex Taraczkozy and his girlfriend, Taryn Ramsden; brother, Buford and wife, Lucy; sisters, Gloria and Teressa and husband, Robert; special friend, Betty Cook; many nieces and nephews; one brother-in-law and three sister-in-law, survive as well.

Due to the pandemic a private service will be held for the family.   Rev. Garry Hall will be officiating.
