Frances Marion Lane, of Mabscott passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2024 in Roanoke, Virginia at the age of 95.
Born March 11, 1929 at Sophia, WV, she was the daughter of the late Mark L. and Pearl Tosh.

Mrs. Lane was a retired Vice-President for the Bank of Raleigh with 31 years of service. She was a member of the Mabscott United Methodist Church having served as Chairman of the Administrative Council and the Finance Committee. She also served as treasurer of the building fund and was a member of the Mabscott United Methodist Women and trustee of the church.

She spent her childhood in Sophia but lived most of her life in Mabscott. She graduated from Sophia High School and earned a business certificate from Radford College, Radford, VA.
She loved her Lord, her family, her church, cats and the joy of flower gardening with God's help.

She is survived by three children, Carol Sue Wood and husband Larry Wood of Beckley, Richard William Lane and wife Karen Lane of Coal City, and Connie Ellen Lane of Roanoke, VA; three grandchildren Emily Sue Williams, Kellie Carrico and her husband Tim, David Mark Lane, great-grandchildren, Katy Edwards, Jaden Wood and his wife Susan, Noah Williams, Emma Carrico, Brooklynn Williams, Gracie Carrico, and Cole Carrico, great-great grandson, Malakai Wood, and bonus daughter, Caroline Jones.

A graveside service will be held at 11:30 am on Wednesday, July 3rd, 2024 at Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mabscott United Methodist Church, P.O.
