Frances Anna Muscatello, born on June 20, 1956 in Welch, WV, tragically passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2024.

Fran was the daughter of Lucy Gattuso Muscatello and Joe Muscatello, Sr. She is survived by her brother, Joseph Muscatello, Jr. and his wife, Dr. Melissa Anderson, from Anna Maria, FL; a niece, Joanna Muscatello, and a nephew, Christopher Muscatello, both from Nashville, TN, along with two grand nieces and one grand nephew.

After graduating from Welch High School in 1974, Fran attended Tennessee Tech in Cookeville, TN, where she graduated with a B. S. And a M. S. In Early Childhood Education. She spent most of her career teaching in the Nashville/Davidson County School system, retiring in 2022. Like her mother before her, Fran was a dedicated and popular educator who was always there for the disadvantaged students.

She had just moved to her beloved home State of West Virginia 3 weeks before being taken from us on August 24, 2024.

Fran would have wanted friends and family to memorialize her with donations of time and money to your local public education system.
