Frederick Lee Ewing died at Marshall University Hospital in Huntington West Virginia April 25th 2026. Freddy was born May 9th 1956 in Beckley West Virginia.

On June 8th 1972 a motorcycle accident left him a quadriplegic. In spite of his disability he was determined to finish his education earning a college degree and working full time.

After years of hard work and Rehabilitation and 20 years after the accident he was a recipient of "Outstanding Rehabilitated Persons by Rehab", and was honored in Charleston, West Virginia.

Freddy enjoyed spending time visiting with his many friends and family members who often gathered in his home.

He is preceded in death by his adoptive parents Howard and Gladys Ewing. He is survived by family members Velma and Carl, Mary Ann and Victoria, Carolyn and Mike, and Suzanne and Jason. He is also survived by many cousins friends and neighbors.

A memorial will be held at the convenience of the family.
