It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Harold Hoeksema, who passed peacefully on March 9, 2025 at the age of 85.

Harold is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Marianne Hoeksema; children Joyce Bishop of WV, William Bishop of MO, Dennis Hoeksema of OK, Sheri Lynch of OK, and Kathleen Thatcher of Germany; 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; sisters Arlene Goff of NC and Rachel Hill of TX.

Harold is preceded in death by his parents Harm and Winifred Hoeksema and his sister Anna Allen.

Harold dedicated 22 years to the United States Air Force and was a Vietnam War veteran. After military retirement, Harold and Marianne spent many years traveling to visit family members and eventually settled in Bluefield, WV to be close to Marianne's mother.
