Harry Hunt, age 82, of Surveyor, West Virginia, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Friday, July 19, 2024.

Harry was born June 05, 1942 in War, West Virginia on June 5, 1942. He was the eldest son of the late Harry Herbert and Virginia Kay (Martin) Hunt. Harry is preceded in death by his brothers Robert and Joel Hunt, sister Kris Hunt, and his daughter Angela Hunt-Bryson.

Harry leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 57 years, Bessie Maye (Gray) Hunt; seven children, Kimberly Hunt, Veronica Hunt, Jeffrey Hunt, Elizabeth Hunt, Crystal Hunt, Joseph (Kristy) Hunt, and Shamika Perdue; grandchildren Toni Thornton, Trinity Hunt, Michael and Emily Davis, Jerica Toller, Tasha Bryson, Krista Taylor, Skylar Perdue, and Avery Hunt; 3 great-grandchildren Tiffany Bryson, Aubrey Taylor, and Brady Taylor, sisters Sandy Tilson and Karen Hilton and his very dear canine friend, Bindy.

Harry enjoyed working on different types of vehicles and found joy in working with his hands. He liked to spend time wood working around the house and loved Nascar.

Harry was a family loving man who enjoyed being at home.
