Helen Ayers

On Saturday, July 11th,  our beloved, Helen Ayers of Fairdale, went to be with the Lord.  She was 73 years old.

The ninth of ten children, Helen was born January 3rd , 1947 at Lester.  She was the daughter of the late Clyde and Josephine Webb.  Her Brothers, Clyde Webb, Ted Webb, Roy Webb, Harry Webb and Sisters, Geraldine Collins, Geneva Acord preceded her in death. She is survived by three sisters;  JoAnn Johnson of Beaver Creek, OH.,  Judy Cozart of Glen Daniel, Margaret Acord of Lester.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 54 years, Kenneth Ayers, Sr.  Two Sons, Kenneth Ayers, Jr and his wife Lisa of Ashburn, VA, Philip Ayers and his wife Carrie of Lester.  Four Grandchildren, Jeremy Ayers and his wife Kristin of Shady Spring, Joshua Ayers of Ashburn, VA, Alexis Ayers of Ashburn, Va, Dylan Ayers of Lester.  One Great Granddaughter, Adeline Ayers of Shady Sping.

Helen was a devoted Pastor’s Wife for over 50 years.  She loved the Lord and being a part of His Church Kingdom; She enjoyed singing and working in her flowers; She was adored by her family and will be sorely missed.

A private family service will be held at Melton Mortuary Chapel on July 15th at 11:00am, Rev Jerry Lawrence will be officiating.
