Helen Ruth Cook-Bostick 50 of Beckley, West Virginia passed away February 14th, 2026. Helen was born January 25th, 1976 a daughter of Alvin and Sharon Cook.

Helen worked at Lowe's of Beckley in the Lawn and Garden Department for over twenty five years. She loved to be at or in the New River with her family and friends at Color the River and loved Railroad Days in Hinton, WV. She was a lovely lady with a heart of gold. She loved the river and the outdoors kayaking, and swimming in the New River.

Helen is preceded in death by her grandparents Jim and Hazel Lester, and Tom and Mona Cook.

Those left to cherish Helen's memory are her husband Walter Bostick, sister Angela Cook, parents Alvin and Sharon Cook, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, friends, and her family at Lowe's of Beckley.

A celebration of Helen's life will be Tuesday February 24th, 2026 at 8:00pm in the Melton Mortuary Chapel with Pastor William Cook officiating. The family will accept friends beginning at 6:00pm.
