Howard Clark Wingrove, Sr. was born on May 8, 1939 in Long Branch, West Virginia to his parents Emory and Mabel (Williams) Wingrove. He passed away on Friday, June 18, 2021 in Scarbro, West Virginia at the age of 82.

Howard was preceded in death by his parents Emory and Mabel; son Brian Wingrove, Sr.; daughter Lisa Wingrove; granddaughter Amber Dawn Wingrove; grandson Clarence Wayne Bryant Jr.; and his ex-wife Mildred Williams Wingrove.

He is survived by his children Vanessa Manning of Oak Hill, Howard Wingrove, Jr., of Scarbro, Debra McCune and her husband Kenny of Mill Creek, and Virginia Lanham and her husband Edward of Fayetteville; 26 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren; sister Nancy Elmore of Glade Springs; and brother Larry Wingrove and is wife Linda of Virginia.

There will be no scheduled services at this time. A private committal service will be held at the Wingrove Family Cemetery at a later date.
