Jackie Gooslin

Jackie Gooslin, 62, of Pemberton, went home to be with the lord on September 22, 2019.  Jackie was born June 2, 1957 in McCarr, Kentucky. He was a member of the Midway Church of God, loved to fish, and spending time with his family.

Jackie was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Easter Gooslin; two sisters, Darlene Hall and Genevia McRorie; a brother, Charles Gooslin; a brother-in-law’s, Bill Hall and George Fraley.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Betty Gooslin of Pemberton; one daughter, April Gooslin (Craig) of Beckley; two sons, Jackie Gooslin (Shannon) of Georgia, Jamie Gooslin of Pemberton; two brothers, Ricky Evans (Patty) of Ohio, Tommy Evans (Rebecca) of Ohio; three sisters, Karen Evans of Ohio, Linda Fraley of Kentucky, Barbara Prunest of Bradley; six grandchildren, Jaylan Johnson, Jordan Johnson, Tyler Gooslin, Alexis Gooslin, Keith Wilson, and Jake Wilson; and his birth mother, Minnie Evans.

Funeral services will be held at the Melton Mortuary Chapel on Tuesday October 1st at 11:00 AM.  The family will receive friends from 10 AM until time of service at 11 AM.  Entombment will follow in the  Sunset Memorial Gardens in Beckley.
