Jackie Ray Milam 'Jack' age 68 of Sophia, WV was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, August 7th, 2024 following a long illness. Born on February 4, 1956 in Akron Ohio he was the son of the late Archie Milam, and Janice Tilley Milam. He married the love of his life Barbara on September 29, 1992 in Pearisburg, Va. In addition to his parents he is greeted just outside the Eastern Gate, two stepsons, Brian, and John Moore, brother Bobby Milam, and grandchild Archie.

Those left behind to forever hold and cherish his memory are his wife of 32 years Barbara, sons Michael Milam, and Nicholas Milam, daughters Jennifer Lytton, and Elizabeth Milam, thirteen grandchildren, one great granddaughter, two very special friends Beth, and Brian Morgan, and many other nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who will all miss Jackie dearly.

Jack was a proud US Air Force Veteran, a patriot, and was a devout Christian man. He enjoyed NASCAR, westerns, and always cheered for his beloved WVU Mountaineers whether win or loss.

A celebration of Jack's life with full military honors will take place on Tuesday August 13, 2024 with Pastor Paul Chapman officiating at 3:00pm. The family will accept visitors beginning at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers please consider making a memorial donation to Hospice of Southern WV in Jack's name.
