Jamie Allen Jeffries

Jamie Allen Jeffries, 45 of Hico, WV passed away on Tuesday, September 1st, 2020 from complications to injuries he received in a timber cutting accident 13 years ago. Born December 3rd, 1974 in Beckley he was the son of the late Leigh Briggs Jeffries and Richard Dale Jeffries and his wife Luann of Oak Hill, WV.

Besides his mother, Jamie is also preceded in death by his sister, Courtney Leigh Hatcher, as well as his grandparents on both the Briggs and Jeffries sides of the family.

Jamie was a Graduate of Midland Trail High School.  He worked as a timber cutter until his accident 13 years ago.  Jamie was an avid hunter and outdoorsman and loved anything about cars.  His sense of humor and independence helped him to manage his situation in life.   He will be sadly missed by those who knew him and cared for him. 

Besides his father and step-mother, Jamie is survived by his nephew, Dylan Perry, and niece, Dakota Perry both of Fayetteville, many aunts, uncles, and cousins, and longtime friends and caretakers of Jamie, Wanda Sydnor, Lori Webb, Brittany Dempsey, Kathryn McGuire also survive.  The family is grateful for the friendship and loving care they and others provided through the years.

At Jamie’s request, there will not be services or visitation.
