Janice Dawson Hylton

On February 3, 2020, Janice Hylton passed away at the age of 90. Janice was born to Sam and Eva Bailey Dawson on October 13, 1929 in Mabscott, WV. Her brother, Darrell Dawson, preceded her in death.

In 1947 she married R.E. (Dean) Hylton and together they raised four children. She is survived by Larry Hylton (Vicky), Debbie Christian (Clarence), Eddie Hylton (Lori), and Deana Wyick (Jeff). Four grandchildren: Brian Hylton, Michele Hylton, Amber Connard (Chris), and Zach Hylton along with great-grandchildren Tanner Hylton, Madison Trimble, Chase Connard, and Kennedy Hylton also survive.Janice was preceded in death by Dean on 2014.

The family would like to thank the staff at Oak Hill Place for their care of Janice during the past year.

In keeping with her wishes, Janice will be cremated and there will be no formal services. Memorial contributions, in her name, may be made to Hospice of Southern WV, Box 1472, Beckley, WV 25802. Their excellent care made her last days comfortable.
