July 24, 1966 – May 28, 2020

Jeffrey Lynn Bowman of Chicago, Illinois passed away peacefully on May 28, 2020.

Jeff was born in Beckley, WV on July 24, 1966, and was the son of Johnny and Dreama Bowman. Jeff went to Chicago to work in 1982, and drove a truck for 15 years. He then started his own company, Bowman’s Construction Company, but became disabled due to an accident in 2006. He was a member of Epiphany United Church of Christ in Chicago since 2006. Jeff liked to fish and hunt, and was always fun to be around. He enjoyed being a cook and server at the pantry through his church, feeding the homeless.

Jeff was preceded in death by his mother, Dreama Bowman.

He is survived by his dad, Johnny, and second mom, Dorothy Bowman, brother, Chris, sisters Diana and Joann Bowman, and special friends in Chicago, Julie and Will, and Pastor Kevin.

Jeff’s wish was to be cremated and his ashes spread in Montrose Harbor, Chicago, Illinois. He will be missed by all who knew him.
