Jennifer Carol Evans Jennings, age 49, of Artie, West Virginia, went home to be with her Lord, and Savior on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, West Virginia.
Jennifer was born August 21, 1973 in Charlottesville, Virginia, a daughter of Jerry and Shirley Jane Williams Evans. She married the love of her life Craig Jennings, on August 22, 2003 in Artie, West Virginia. In addition to her parents Jennifer is also greeted at Heaven's gates by her husband of 20 years Craig, grandfather Alexander "Bobby" Williams, and her uncle Alex Williams.
Those left behind to cherish and forever hold Jennifer's memory close include her sister Debbie Evans of New York, grandmother Carol Williams, aunt Sandra Scarbro, Uncles Dale, Gary, David, and Randy Williams, step children Jessica Morgan, and Chris "Woody" Adams, four grandchildren, and 2 cousins that she claimed as her sister and brother, JoAnna McGraw, and Steven Williams, and many other extended family and friends who will all miss Jennifer dearly.
Jennifer was a light to everyone who encountered her, she was a photography lover, always enjoying God's beauty in nature through photographs, she was a poet as well always writing poems and verses, She was an accomplished singer always enjoying singing hymns and sharing God's love through song.
The family would like to offer special thanks to the staff of the ICU Department at Beckley ARH, and the nursing staff at Bower's Hospice House.
In keeping with Jennifer's wishes, cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Melton Mortuary and Cremation Center, the family will schedule a memorial service privately at a later date.
