Jerry "Bear" Lee Davidson

Jerry “Bear” Davidson was born on February 21, 1951 in Silver Springs, Maryland to his late parents George Washington and Edna Lenore (Hawkston) Davidson Sr.  He was reunited with his family who have passed on before him on November 11, 2021 in Beckley, West Virginia at the age of 70.

Bear will forever be remembered by those who survive him; his companion and best friend, Sylvia Davidson; his children Jeremiah (Amy) Lee Davidson, Joshua Davidson, and Christina (Jesse) Davidson; grandchildren, James Butts V, Kalab Davidson, Brooke Davidson, and Korbin Dodge; sisters Linda Davidson and Opal Williams; and many extended family and friends who will miss him.

Bear is preceded in death by his parents; and his siblings Betty Harris, Tim Davidson, and George “Bobby” Davidson; and his beloved canine side-kick Kane.

Bear was a long-haul truck driver who loved driving his big rig!  He enjoyed muscle cars and working with his hands on all vehicles.  He was a real family man whose greatest pride and joys were his grandchildren.
