Jerry Lee Kensinger Jr., age 69, of Beckley, West Virginia, was called to the Big Motorcycle Rally in the sky on Thursday, June 19, 2025 with his loving family by his side at Bowers Hospice House.
Jerry was born on July 10, 1955 in Monrovia, California, a son of the late Jerry Kensinger Sr. and Hazel Roos. He chose to spend his many years, and adventures with the love of his life, and his surfer girl Linda in 1991 in Los Angeles CA. Jerry served proudly in the US Navy from 1974-1976 on board the USS O'Callahan FF-1051. After his service in the Navy Jerry built motorcycles, and painted his own special brand of art on them from the gas tanks to the frames. Jerry was a biker through and through always enjoying many rides throughout the numerous roadways.
Those left to cherish his memory are the love of his life Linda, son Brian(Cynthia) Huggins, and a brother closer than blood Daniel Humphrey.
A graveside service will take place for Jerry on Wednesday June 25, 2025 at 2pm in the Sunset Memorial Park in Beckley WV. Friends may gather for visitation in the Melton Mortuary Chapel beginning at 1:00pm, from where we will process to lay Jerry to rest.
The family would like to offer special thanks and acknowledgment to the staff, doctors, and nurses at Bowers Hospice House for all of their love, compassion, and care shown to Jerry and the family during his illness.
