Jo Ann Solace, age 70, of Beckley, West Virginia, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital.

She was born May 5, 1954 in Mullens, West Virginia, a daughter of Arthur Allen Hall and Delphia Marie Gibson. JoAnn met and married the love of her life, Henry Solace. They spent many happy years together before his passing.

JoAnn was a hard worker. She devoted many years working as a Manager at Hardee's before retiring. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-granddaughter every moment she could. Her family loved her greatly and she will be missed. She truly was one of a kind.

She is survived by her daughter, Tina Smith; grandchildren, Vada O'Bryan and husband Chris, Tyler Smith and his girlfriend Spring; great-grandchild, Penelope Rayne O'Bryan; sister, Barbara Creech and husband Jimmy; and brothers, Raymond Hall and wife Cheryl, and Arthur "Jr" Hall.

Funeral Services for JoAnn will be Saturday, February 15, 2025 at the Melton Mortuary Chapel. The Visitation will begin at 11:00 am and go until the Funeral Service begins at 12:00 pm. Pastor Vernon Sears will be conducting the funeral service.
