Jo Ann Jordan

Jo Ann Jordan, age 88 of Grandview, went to be with the Lord following a short illness on Saturday August 29, 2020 at BARH Hospital in Beckley.  Jo Ann was born on November 19, 1931 at Grandview WV.  She was the daughter of the late Robert and Irene Carper McClure.

Jo Ann was a retired bindery worker for BJW Printing & Office Supplies.  She was a member of Pikeview Christian Church in Beckley.  She enjoyed camping, traveling and most of all spending time planting and enjoying her beautiful flower gardens.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Owen L. Haney, and Charles F. Jordan and by two sisters Peggy Pendelton and Janis Williams.

Those left to cherish her memory include daughters Nancy Noel and Donnie Fink of Beckley WV, Pam and her husband Joe Mooney of Grandview WV, Sherry and her husband Bill Thompson of Grandview WV.

Grandsons Adam Mooney and his wife Brittney, Evan and Brandon Thompson, granddaughter Michelle Johnson and her husband Jason.  Great grandchildren Taylor and Addy Mooney,  Maxwell and Maddox Johnson.  Jo Ann is also survived by a sister Frances Jenkins and a brother Robert Bruce McClure and wife Brenda.

The family is receiving friends from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Melton Mortuary on Friday September 4, 2020.  Those wishing to attend the committal services are asked to be at the mortuary by 12:30 PM. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
