Joseph Michael Meyer

Joseph 'Joe' Michael Meyer, age 44, of Beckley, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 13, 2024 in Charleston.

Joe is proceeded in death by his grandparents Joseph and Mary Ellen Meyer, Richard and Lorene Weber, and aunt Lynn Weber and uncles Rick and Carl Weber.

Joe is survived by his parents Terence and Barbara Meyer, wife, Amanda "Mandy" Turner, his sons Noah Turner and Liam Meyer, sister Tara Meyer, brother Jonathan "Jon" and sister-in-law Meghan Meyer, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Joe was born in Cincinnati, OH but called West Virginia his home (always a WVU fan!). Joe's smile was contagious and would light up any room. The laugh that accompanied that smile was equally infectious. Joe had many different interests including working on computers, Volkswagens, antiques, history, interesting projects, and fixing anything electrical. Of course, there was his lifelong love of Star Trek.

The family will receive friends for visitation from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at Melton Mortuary Chapel. A celebration of Joe's life will follow at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Dewey Lowe officiating.
