Joseph Anthony Pomilla

Joseph Anthony Pomilla 83 of Birch River, West Virginia gained his heavenly reward on Friday September 23, 2022. Joe was the son of the late Anthony Pomilla, and Nancy Finelli Pomilla of New York. In addition to his parents Joe is greeted in heaven by his wife of 36 years Grace Pomilla , brother Thomas Pomilla, and sister Virginia Eden. Those left behind on Earth to cherish and hold Joe's memory are his sons Joseph Pomilla Jr, and Michael Pomilla, and daughter Lori Walker, grandchildren Thomas and James Walker, and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who will all miss him dearly.

Joe worked for the Long Island Railroad retiring with thirty plus years. He had a passion for trains, and being so proud always tinkering with models of locomotives, trains, and railroad layouts. Joe was a very giving man, always eager to volunteer his time in many organizations, and loved to travel throughout the world. He was a devout man to his faith always praying for others, and studying his bible. Joe would take every opportunity to socialize and dance, and loved to meet new friends.
