Joyce Ann (Blankenship) Merriman

Joyce Ann Merriman, 55, of Beckley, went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 3rd, 2020 at her home following a short illness. Born July 16, 1964, in Welch, WV, Joyce was the daughter of the late James Blankenship and Marie Lafferty Blankenship. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her; brother Brian Keith Blankenship, infant sister, Becky Sue Blankenship; grandparents, John & Inez Blankenship, and Jesse & Margaret Lafferty.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter Amee Murdock of Bassett VA, grandchildren, Nadilee Murdock,  Brodee Adams, Brother Michael Blankenship of Oak Hill, and nephew Tyler Blankenship. A special sister-in-law Karen Blankenship and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. Saturday, May 9th, 2020 at Pine Grove Baptist Church at Ravencliff with Rev. Jonathan Cresong officiating. Friends may call from 12 noon until the time of service. Burial will follow in the Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
