Juanita Cornett of Beckley passed away peacefully on February 6, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 14, 1953 to the late Jim and Unavell Chambers. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Jim Lewis Chambers.
Those left to cherish her memories are her loving husband of 47 years, Richard L. Cornett II; sons, Dr. Stuart Cornett (Amy), Todd Cornett (Rachel), Ricky Cornett (Kelsey); sister, Joetta Oliver (Tim). She was blessed with 9 grandchildren; Baylei, Kennedy, Rylei, Jordan, Todd II, Tristan, Chino, Kaylin, Mia; great grandchildren; Layla, Eastyn, Joseph, Lynnlei; sisters-in-law, Nancy Chambers, Karen Gibson, and Kittye Fink (Donnie); her dear friend, Frances Moye; and numerous other wonderful family members and friends.
Juanita’s greatest joy was being with her family. She was a generous soul with a heart of gold.
Rick and Juanita founded Jan Care Ambulance Service in 1970. With the support of their family, Jan Care has grown to be the largest Ambulance provider in West Virginia.
A service to honor the life of Juanita will be held Saturday, February, 13 at 1:00 pm at the Calvary Assembly of God in Beckley with Pastor Donnie Fink officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial. Friends may visit from 11-1 pm. For those who wish to attend services, facial coverings must be worn at all times.
The family extends their deepest gratitude to Karen and Frances for providing loving care and comfort during this last year.
