Judith "Judy" Ann Gunter, age 83, of Beckley, West Virginia, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2025 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, West Virginia.

She was born July 6, 1941 in Covel, West Virginia, a daughter of Estel and Maxine Bailey Belcher. Judy married Ron Gunter and they spent a wonderful 35 years together before her passing.

Judy was a dedicated mother to her three sons. She did everything she could to raise them right and gave them all the love she could. Judy was a true person of faith. She loved spending time at her camp on the New River. She and her family had many happy memories there.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her youngest son, David Morgan.

She is survived by her husband Ronald Gunter; son, Mark Morgan, wife Patricia and Kevin Morgan, wife Mareena, Keith Gunter, wife Amber, and Valerie Reesor and husband Bruce; 6 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandkids.

Judy was a long time member of Al-Anon. She was devoted to everyone that she helped during her years as a member.

A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Gospel Chapel located at 1134 C & O Dam Road, Daniels, WV. The service will be officiated by Pastor Luke Richmond. All who want to honor Judy and show their love and appreciation for her memory are invited to attend.
