Judy Faye (Morgan) Harris

Judy Faye Morgan Harris 73 of Mullens went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 6th, 2019 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born October 3rd, 1945 in Pineville she was the daughter of the late Thomas Robert and Violet Catherine Hall Morgan.

Judy was a member of the Black Eagle Baptist Church where she had been a member for over 20 years. She had worked as a Custodian for over 40 years and had helped her son Roland at his business for many years. In her spare time, Judy loved Bluegrass music shows and trips to Tennessee, gardening, yard sales, and flea markets. But most of all she loved her kids and grandchildren and her pet cat Tiger.

She is preceded in death by one sister; Katie Lauderback and one brother Tommy “Peewee” Morgan.

She is survived by; two sons Roland Harris and wife Betty of Mullens, Harmon Harris of Ohio and one daughter Patricia Fuller and husband Michael of Glen Rogers, 3 sisters Ada Franklin and her husband Martin of Bluefield, VA, Margaret Morgan of Mullens, Adella Hackworth and her husband Buddy of Tazewell VA, and one brother Randall Morgan of Mullens. Four grandchildren; Edward and Michael Fuller and Kaitlyn and Brittany Meddings.

Special thanks to Bowers Hospice House in Beckley and the many special friends that comforted and helped her during her illness.

Memorial services will be held at 1 P.M. Saturday, May 11, 2019, at the Black Eagle Baptist Church in Black Eagle WV with Pastor Jeff Elkins officiating.
