Julia Ann Lynch Obituary

Mrs. Julia Ann "Judy" Lynch went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, May 13, 2025.She was surrounded by those who loved her most.

Judy was preceded in death by her sisters, Francis and Cookie; her brothers Mack and Rick; her beloved husband of 51 years, Robert Lynch and their son Jason Lynch and daughter in law, Deborah Lynch.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Bobby Lynch, his wife, Sherry, John Lynch and his wife, Renee', Guyenia Thompson, Lisa Day and her husband, JD, Wayne Lynch, Lenissa Lykins and her husband, Mark along with 21 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. She will also be missed by her extended family and friends whom she held dear.

Judy was a lifelong resident of Blue Jay, WV. She devoted her life to caring for her family. In her free time she enjoyed reading, particularly mystery novels and westerns. She also wrote poetry and enjoyed word search puzzles. Often she would be found watching her favorite television series, namely "Dark Shadows" and "Days of Our Lives." Judy loved anything Elvis and had a wonderful sense of humor. Above all, she was a fierce proponent for her family and generous to a fault. She was a devout Christian and loved Jesus beyond all else and was a lifetime member of Glen Morgan Missionary Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and helped in the kitchen. Judy was a prayer warrior and anyone she encountered would receive a good dose of prayer. She loved reading the Bible, particularly the book of James.

A celebration of Judy's life will take place at the Gospel Chapel on Saturday, May 24.
The Gospel Chapel is located on C & O Dam Road in Daniels, WV, with Pastor Luke Richmond officiating. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.with the service beginning at 3 p.m.

The family wished to recognize the outstanding service provided by Hospice of West Virginia and the loving care provided by her daughter, Lenissa Lykins, who went over and above the call of duty to care for her Momma.

Judy's favorite verse was Psalm 91:1. "He that dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide in the shadow of the Almighty." And there she now abides.
