Justin Maurice Walker, 34, of Rock Creek, WV was taken home to Heaven by the Angels after a lifelong battle with diabetes on Thursday, January 6, 2022.

He also leaves behind to cherish his memories his sister Misty and Wesley Scarbrough; nieces Breanna Stanley, Frances (Tyler) Scarbrough and Tianna (John) Scott; nephews Budders (Summer) Scarbrough and Brian Andrew Webb; 3 great-nephews Nathan, Gregory, and Asher; 3 great-nieces Jasmine, Alyssa and Haislynn. He also leaves behind a huge amount of close friends.
Justin cherished and loved all of his family more than anything in this world. He will always be remembered for his huge heart, kindness and his crazy humor. He always knew how to make everyone laugh.
He loved sports, collecting coins, baseball cards and comic books, watching movies and listening to music. He loved to play basketball in the evenings with his nephew, Budders. When you look up at the moon, wave because he is in it looking back smiling and watching over us all.
Justin will be sadly missed by his family and friends. He will be laid to rest along with his mother, Brenda Carol Canterbury-Price, who passed away on March 18, 2020. Justin dedicated his entire life to caring for his mother, she was his best friend and now they are finally reunited.
A funeral service celebrating Justin’s life will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at 3:00 pm at the Arnett Chapel with Pastor Larry Kinder officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation from 1-3 pm. Interment will follow services at the Walker-Scarbrough Family Cemetery with family and friends serving as pall-bearers.
