Katie Marie Dunbar

Katie Marie Dunbar was born on September 2, 1980 in Beckley, West Virginia to the late Jessie Paul and Judy Marie Stone.  She passed away on January 11, 2021 in Beckley, West Virginia at the age of 40.

Katie is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Jessica Stone.  She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of 19 years, Matthew Jason Dunbar; children Matthew Abraham Dunbar, Jeffrey Noah Dunbar, Sarah Jane Dunbar, and Virginia Rose Dunbar; sisters Michele Sears and Martha Stone; brother Jesse (Mary Jo) Stone; and many extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.

Katie was a member of Ewing Creek Church for over 12 years.  She was a kind, loving, and caring soul who always put everyone else's needs before her own.  She enjoyed gardening, fishing, cooking, and most of all, spending time with her family.
