K. Ray Stover Jr. 63, of Princewick, WV passed away September 19th, 2023, after a long illness.
Born on May 9th, 1960 he was the son of Kermit Ray Stover Sr, and Joyce Ilene Scarbro.

He was preceded in death by his son Kenneth K. Stover, and special cousins Andy, and Jack Stover, paternal grandparents Basil and Orpha Williams Stover, and maternal grandparents Grady Scarbro, Ardena Jarrett Scarbro Stover.

Those left behind to cherish and hold his memory close are his daughter Rae Stover of Middletown, OH, son Calvin Stover of Lansing, MI, daughter Beverly Kay(Raymond) Ryan of Jackson MI, and son Stanley Lake of Georgia, eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, brothers Ted Stover of Lansing, MI, Randy(Lisa) Stover of Harper, WV, Gerald Stover, and Joseph(Angela) Stover of Aurora CO, sisters Donna(Kenneth) Lentz of Lansing, MI, and Karen(Troy) Keeley of Catawba, NC, two double first cousins Deborah Stover Cooper, and Tobin Stover both of MI, special first cousin Jerry Scarbro, and many other extended family and friends who will all miss Mr. Stover dearly.

He was a 1978 graduate of St. Johns High School in St. Johns, MI. He worked for many years as a drywaller and retired from that profession after multiple years of service. He was an outdoorsman, always enjoying fishing, bow and rifle hunting, and enjoying the Lord's beauty in nature. He also enjoyed tinkering, and making lures for fly fishing. He was a music lover, always listening to all kinds of music especially Elvis, and his favorite band The Doors led by Jim Morrison.

Cremation Arrangements have been entrusted to Melton Mortuary and Cremation Center in Beckley, West Virginia who are honored to serve the family.

A private memorial service will be held at Burrells Branch Cemetery in Clear Creek, WV.
