Larry Cline Lilly Obituary

Mr. Larry Cline Lilly, born May 2, 1948 in WV, passed away on August 29, 2025, in Beckley, WV. He was 77 years old.

Larry was a lifelong resident of WV, raised in Bud-Alpoca, and carried with him the enduring values of his Appalachian roots. He found joy and peace in the great outdoors, spending countless hours hunting in the woods, fishing along quiet streams, and walking through nature's paths. These pursuits were not just hobbies for Larry- they were a way of life that reflected his deep connection to the land, and his appreciation for its quiet beauty.

Larry was a 1966 graduate of Herndon High School.

He was the beloved son of Archie and Gladys Lilly, and the cherished grandson of Ray and Frances Lane, and Luther Jennings and Lily May Lilly. Larry's life was shaped by strong family ties, both those who came before him and those who walked alongside him.

Larry is survived by two daughters Lisa Huff, and Amy Johnson. He is also remembered by his brothers Gary Lilly, and Eddie Lilly. His memory is held close by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents; his brother Randy Lilly; sisters-in-law Linda Lilly, Diane Lilly, and Kathy Lilly; and his nephew Brian Mills.

Larry's life was one marked by simplicity, strength, and a quiet resilience. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
