Lawrence Viars Obituary

Lawrence Van Viars, 63 of Sophia, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2020, after a sudden illness.

Born June 13, 1957, in Beckley, he was the son of the late Carl and Mary Ann Viars of Midway.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Shannon Viars, and a brother Charles S. Viars.

Survivors include his brother Darin Viars of Sophia, two sisters, Christina Spencley of New Brunswick, Canada,
and Jane Hicks, of Midway, two grandchildren, and extended family and friends.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
