Lennie Earl Hartshorn III

Lennie Earl Hartshorn III, 33, of Harper, WV, was welcomed into Heaven’s gates by his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and his sister, Heather Lynette Hartshorn, on June 4, 2019. 

He was born on July 29, 1985.  He was the son of Lennie Earl Jr. and Ramona (Lilly) Hartshorn.  He was a 2003 graduate of Liberty High School.  Lennie was a former student of Concord University and was working as a Recovery Coach at Sound Mind, Inc. in Lester, WV.

Lennie is preceded in death by his sister, Heather Lynette Hartshorn who passed away on February 22, 2017. 

He will be sadly missed by his fiancé, Sharon Allen, and their son, Liam Earl Hartshorn.  He will also be sadly missed by his son, Lennie Earl Hartshorn, IV (aka Bubby) and his daughter, Marley Marie Hartshorn of St. Mary’s, WV.  Lennie is also survived by his sister Staci Leigh (Hartshorn) Stover and husband Ricky, and maternal grandmother, Juanita June Lilly. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family, and friends. 

A memorial will be held at a later date (TBA) with the Rev. Anthony Bailey officiating whom he dearly loved.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sound Mind, Inc., c/o Rev. Anthony Bailey, P.O. Box 63, Lester, WV, 25865.
