Leonard Cantley better known as Bubba Stix, went to play drums for the Lord on June 14, 2021.
He was born to the late Johnny Ray Cantley and Elizabeth Darlene Cantley on June 3, 1975.
He was a two-time West Virginia State champion drummer and played drums for several local bands. He was an avid West Virginia Mountaineers fan and could make anyone smile with his jokester personality. Bubba loved the Lord and professed his faith often. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and friend.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife Miracle Parker and his six children Leonard Christian Cantley, Joseph Wolfe, Jacob Wolfe, Devon Parker, Ruby Cantley, and Coen Cantley. He also leaves behind several brothers and sisters along with nieces and nephews. In addition to his family, he leaves behind several friends that were like family such as Joe Dotson and wife Rita, Howard Dotson, Tex Fields, Todd Brown, Pete Irvin, and wife Ramona, Ivan Combs and wife Angela, Robert Williams and his wife Gail and Jacob Woodrum just to name a few.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, June 19, 2021, at 1 pm at the Melton Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Dale Birchfield officiate, friends may call on the family from 10 A.M. Saturday until the time of service. Bubbas wished to be cremated after the services.
