Lewann Michelle Shrewsbury, 48, of Camp Creek, West Virginia, passed away on December 3, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and music.

Born in Mooresville, North Carolina, on March 8, 1976, Michelle was the cherished daughter of Mike and Donna Shumake. She was a dedicated member of Fairview Freewill Baptist Church, where she was actively involved in the congregation. She was a gifted singer and musician, Michelle's talent for bringing joy through her music was matched only by her radiant personality. She had a unique ability to connect with everyone she met, and her warmth, kindness, and sense of humor made her a beloved friend to all.

Above all, Michelle adored her family. She was especially proud of her daughter, Brianna Jones (Dakota Jones) of Bluefield, VA, and was overjoyed to become a Grammie for the first time. Alongside her beloved daughter, she shared 30 wonderful years with her loving husband, David Shrewsbury. Together, they created countless memories, from crafting to simply cherishing the moments spent in each other's company. Their love, deep and enduring, was truly one of a kind. Michelle's love for her family and friends was boundless, and her devotion to them will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.

In addition to her husband and daughter, she is survived by her parents, Mike and Donna Shumake; her sister, Melissa Quarnstrom (Kevin Quarnstrom); as well as nieces, nephews, numerous friends and colleagues who will deeply miss her presence in their lives.

Michelle's memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. She was a bright light in this world, and she will be forever remembered for the love and joy she shared with others.

A celebration of Michelle's life will be held at Fairview Freewill Baptist Church on December 14th, 2024 at 1:00pm
