Lexie Lee Morgan, age 76, of Rutledge, Tennessee, formerly of Glen Fork, WV, was called home on Saturday, September 13, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.

Lexie was born on June 18, 1949 in Glen Rogers, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Zinnie and Mary Fortner. She married the love of her life, James Rush Morgan on December 24, 1969 in Ravencliff, West Virginia.

Lexie was brought up, and lived her life in the Christian faith. Lexie loved her family above all else, always cooking, and caring for them. Lexie loved to fish especially for Striper; always making sure to catch the biggest one to keep the competitive edge; and also enjoyed crocheting beautiful gifts for her family.

Those left to cherish her memory and await a reunion day are her husband of 55 years James Rush Morgan of Rutledge, TN, formerly of Glen Fork, WV two children; Melissa Dawn Tilley(David) of Rutledge, TN and James Rush Morgan Jr(Virginia) of McGraws, WV, grandchildren; DJ Tilley(Andrea) of Morristown, TN, Levi Tilley(Kara) of Talbott, TN, and Caitlin Morgan of McGraws, WV, Great-grandchildren; Aden Tilley, Archer Tilley, Hudson Tilley, Elias Tilley, and Ella Tilley all of Tennessee; and many other extended family and friends.
