Linda Elizabeth Conte, 63, of Beckley, West Virginia, passed away on May 4, 2025.
Born on September 13, 1961, in Beckley, Linda was the beloved daughter of the late Louis and Lena Conte. She dedicated much of her professional life to Windstream, where she served as a supervisor and earned the respect of her colleagues for her dedication and leadership.
Linda had a kind heart and generous spirit, always willing to help those in need. Her deep compassion extended especially to animals, and she was a devoted advocate for their well-being throughout her life. Her gentle nature and unwavering kindness left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her loving sister Louisa Jordan and her husband Paul; her cherished niece, Emily Jordan; nephews Joseph Jordan, Christoper Banning, and Scott Banning; and her loyal dog Peaches, who brought her great comfort and joy.
Linda was preceded in death by her sister, Olimpia Banning.
The Rite of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 14th at 1:00 pm in the St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. The Conte family will be receiving friends at 12 noon. The Rite of Committal will follow in the Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum, where Linda will be entombed in the Conte Family crypt.
Linda will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
