Linda Ellen Wolfe, age 81, of Beckley, West Virginia, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 after a battle with illness.

She was born December 17, 1943 in Humboldt, Iowa, a daughter of Ralph Stoddard and Mildred Francis Pollock. Linda married the love of her life, Charles Leroy Wolfe and they spent 54 wonderful years together before her passing.

After graduating from Humbolt High School, Linda went on to build a family. She had 2 children that she and Charles loved dearly. They were devoted to their family. She especially loved spending time with her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Linda spent all the time she could building memories with them that they will hold on to forever.

Linda had a love of animals. She had horses and spent time riding them for many years. Riding her horses was her one of her favorite things to do. Another of her favorite things was feeding the birds. Linda also spend many hours in her garden. She loved growing all kinds of flowers. Her favorite were her lillies and dahlias.

Linda was one of the nicest people you would ever meet. She always had a smile on her face and would do anything to help other people. The love she gave to others was deeply felt and she will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Charles Leroy Wolfe; son, Charles "Chuckie" Wolfe; daughter, Carrie Plumley; grandchildren, Taylor Wolfe, Katelyn Holcomb, Caleb Holcomb, Remington Wolfe, and Shasta Wolfe; great-grandchildren, Jasper and Greyson; sister, Janice Funk; niece, Holly Funk; nephews, Brian and Gary Overmire; and other family and friends that loved her dearly.

The Funeral Ceremony Honoring Linda will be held on Tuesday, September 9th starting at 1 PM at Melton Mortuary with Pastor Frank McQuillen officiating . The family will receive visitors beginning an hour prior. A Graveside Service for Linda will be held at a later date.
